CEMPRE - Centro de Estudos Macroeconómicos e de Previsão - is a research centre hosted by Faculdade de Economia of Universidade do Porto (FEP), Portugal, financed by EU and Portuguese Government funds via FCT (Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia).

CEMPRE conducts research in macroeconomics (growth, business cycles, monetary policy, fiscal policy), finance, international business, international trade, economic theory, regional economics, econometrics and history of economic thought. The Centre has 26 members currently affiliated to FEP and actively teaching and researching.

The goals of CEMPRE are to endorse academic research and publication of scientific research results in high quality international journals. CEMPRE financially support FEP's Doctoral programme in Economics and has a leading role in several FEP Seminar series as well in its Working Paper series.
