Each year the Penn Humanities Forum opens a conversation with the community by selecting a new topic of broad humanistic interest for its academic programs and its public lecture series. The theme for 2008-2009, the Forum's Tenth Anniversary, is CHANGE, with experts from diverse fields exploring notions of change in philosophy, language, science, medicine, art, the environment, music, and literature. The Forum is a classic Penn enterprise, crossing disciplinary boundaries and demonstrating the importance of humanistic thought in every aspect of experience.
