The "Mathematical Methods and Models for Industry" (3MI) team is a teaching and research group at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint-Etienne, one of the leading engineering university in France. 3MI is involved in many collaborative projects with companies that deal with optimization and uncertainty propagation through computationally intensive simulators. This research position is open as part of the French national "Multidisciplinary Optimization" project funded in part by the ANR (cf. http://omd.lri.fr ). 3MI is the project leader.
