Location and Facilities:
The US Army Center for Environmental Health Research (USACEHR) is located at Fort Detrick in Frederick, MD. USACEHR operates state-of-the-art aquaculture facilities and laboratories specifically designed for aquatic toxicology, molecular biology, genomics, and proteomics.

Mission:
USACEHR’s mission is to support Force Health Protection by directing and conducting research, development, testing and validation for occupational and environmental health surveillance and environmental health technology. The USACEHR research programs focus on exposures to toxic industrial chemicals and materials and militarily relevant chemicals.

Vision:
USACEHR will be identified as the premier Department of Defence Resource for research and development of biologically-based risk assessment products for environmental health hazards encountered by military personnel.
