PERCRO (Perceptual Robotics ? Simultaneous Presence, Telepresence and Virtual Presence) is a fundamental research laboratory founded by Prof. Massimo Bergamasco belonging to the Industrial and Information Engineering Faculty of the Scuola Superiore S.Anna, Pisa, Italy. The research activities carried out at PERCRO deals with the control component and the sense of presence of humans in Virtual Environments (VE) and in Teleoperation conditions. The main research topics of the laboratory are focused in the fields of mechanical and control design of haptic interfaces, exploration and manipulation of virtual objects, advanced real time visual rendering techniques, simulators, telepresence and interaction design.
