OMH has developed the Psychiatric Services and Clinical Knowledge Enhancement System (PSYCKES), a web-based program designed to identify Medicaid enrollees statewide who may benefit from a clinical review, and provides decision support tools to clinicans to help improve care. In addition, New York State will be the first in the country to develop a program allowing Medicaid enrollees to directly access their Medicaid treatment history, and participate in a shared decsion making process designed to educate and empower consumers.
