CWRU has a very significant focus in biomedical imaging with faculty in Biomedical Engineering, Radiology, Physics, and Chemistry. There are over 28 PhD Principal Investigators doing technical biomedical imaging research. Numerous post doctoral researchers, graduate students, and staff participate in all areas of the program, including frequent seminars and courses. The Case Center for Imaging Research houses MRI, PET, optical, CT, and SPECT imaging devices in a state-of-the-art in vivo cellular and molecular imaging facility.
