BCM is located in the Texas Medical Center (TMC) in Houston, which is the largest medical center in the world, and is a top 25 medical school in the U.S. according to the 2011 ranking by US News. BCM Ranks 2nd in the nation in federal funding for research and development in the biological sciences at universities and colleges by the National Science Foundation. Our group will be the second chemistry group and the first group specialized in drug delivery at BCM. So there will be enormous exciting opportunities to collaborate and make an impact in biomedical research. In addition, the Texas Medical Center includes 14 renowned hospitals and two specialty institutions, three medical schools and six nursing schools, which provide many job opportunities for your spouse or demostic partner.
