The Photonics Group at the American University in Cairo (AUC) is currently hiring Graduate Students in the areas of NanoPhotonics, solar cell, optical interconnects, optical sensors,and plasmonics.
Selected students will join the Graduate Program at master's or Ph.D. levels, depending on their backgrounds. B.Sc.s In Electronic Engineering or Physics are required. Experience in the area of Photonics, Optics and/or Optical MEMS and/or Plasmonics is preferred. Hands-on experience with experimental optics and photonics modelling is considered an asset.
