The Center of Excellence in Infectious Disease Research at the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, El Paso, Texas is seeking highly qualified candidates for a Research Instructor position. The Center is primarily interested in investigators with research interests in infectious diseases. The position reports to the Co-Directors of the Center of Excellence for Infectious Diseases.
Minimum Qualifications: M.D. or Ph.D degree in a field related to biomedicalsciences, preferably infectious diseases, a minimum of 2 years of postdoctoral experience in siRNA delivery technologies, virus infection study, animal work, and immunology, and a proven track record of peer-reviewed publications.
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with strong expertise in microscopy, flow cytometry, ELISPOT, ELISA, RT-PCR, RNA interference, delivery technologies, animal work, and other molecular biological and immunological techniques. Candidates must also have creativity in research and scholarship.
