The Computational Imaging Lab at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona provides an exciting environment for PhD students and postdoctoral fellows. CILab provides opportunities to pursue interdisciplinary research and to acquire a broad perspective on medical problems and the technological approaches that can be used to address them.

CILab research focuses on algorithmic and applied research in the area of computational imaging, modelling and simulation. In particular, medical image segmentation, statistical shape modelling and analysis, computational geometry, pattern recognition and image-based and personalised computational mechanics are among the Lab's areas of expertise. 

CILab seeks proactive and talented young post-doctoral researchers with proven track record of publications in leading international journals and conferences. Candidates should be creative, have the ability to carry out independent research and interact within an international research team.

We are interested in individuals with excellent communication and leadership skills, able to effectively collaborate with fellow colleagues and contribute to the visibility of the Lab in the international scientific community.

The ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and be able to interact with other disciplines is essential.
