The applicant is expected to have active research interests in statistical methods for large and complex data. Individuals with demonstrated interest in computing, algorithms, bioinformatics, imaging or finance are especially encouraged to apply. An outstanding record of research, professional activity, and teaching is expected for a tenured appointment. Demonstrated interest and the ability to achieve such a record is necessary for an appointment as a tenure-track Assistant Professor or tenured Associate or Full Professor. The successful candidate will be expected to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The position will begin 7/1/2009.
