Studies of human herpesviruses (Epstein-Barr virus, varicella-zoster virus, herpes simplex virus) will include the role of cellular genes in control of virus infection in vitro and in vivo, development of candidate vaccines, and identification of cellular proteins that interact with these viruses. Applicants should have experience in virology or immunology.
