Job Title: Postdoctoral positions in computational biology
Description:

Postdoctoral positions in computational biology will be available at the Sealy Center for Molecular Medicine and the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology within the University of Texas Medical Branch. Successful candidates will work in a new research group headed by A. Kudlicki. We are interested in integration of whole-genome transcription, sequence and proteomic data, especially in context of inferring causal interactions from microarray datasets, including time-course experiments.

These positions are open to recent Ph.D’s (0-3 years since the award of doctorate) with background in bioinformatics, biophysics, biostatistics, physics, or a related discipline. We are seeking highly motivated researchers with demonstrated proficiency in scientific computing; previous experience in whole-genome expression and/or sequence data analysis will be an advantage. The appointments will be available for one (1) or two (2) years, with possibility of a further extension. The annual stipend will be based on current NIH guidelines.
