Job Title: Physicist Postdoc Fellow
Description:

Be a part of something great!

Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, this postdoctoral position will focus on Far-From-Equilibrium Statistical Thermodynamics research. Using a background in statistical physics, the incumbent will help develop fundamental nanoscale, far-from equilibrium thermodynamics to develop an understanding of the practical limits and operational principle of molecular machines, both biological and artificial.

As a Physicist Visiting Postdoctoral Fellow you will have the opportunity to:

Essential: Develop analytic and computational models of nanoscale, far-from equilibrium thermodynamics to develop an understanding of the practical limits and operational principle of molecular machines, both biological and artificial. Collect and analyze data and prepare results for publication in scientific journals and presentations at seminars. Assist with the development of funding proposals. Assist PI with training and oversight of the workflow of other technical staff, GSRAs and Student Assistants. Marginal: Participate in group meetings and seminars. Maintain an accurate and detailed scientific logbook of all experiments performed. Ensure that others could duplicate results.
