The Group

This group is one of the most successful systematic trading groups on the buy side. The group operates a flat, relaxed and cohesive working style. All members of the team work on the full lifecycle research, development and deployment of purely systematic trading strategies.

The group runs systematic strategies of various frequencies, across various asset classes and global markets. Group members will be more than happy to talk you through their trading activities in more detail as and when the interview process develops.

Role

As one of the junior members of the team, you will work with the rest of the team in the full lifecycle development and deployment of their trading operations. This is a very challenging role and group in so far as it is anticipated that as your experience grows you will develop versatile trading, quantitative and technology intensive skills.

Much of the group's core strength lies in the high frequency domain. Much of their success has been based on their ongoing innovation in their alpha generation process and technology platform.

Ideally, you must be educated to PhD level in a quantitative and or technical field from a leading faculty. You should have at least 1 years experience in a front -office quantitative role. Strong technology understanding and skills are imperative an integral to success as a quantitative trader in this group.

This existing position has arisen to fill an important void left by a team member who has re-located to Asia to start the groups presence there.
