The Arts & Sciences Mathematics Program of the Petroleum Institute, Abu Dhabi, has several openings for Faculty Positions to begin in Fall 2009. Appointments will be at the Assistant Professor level, however exceptional candidates can be considered for a position at a higher level.

Responsibilities include: teaching at least 2 courses (in English) from Calculus I, II, III, Differential Equations, Statistics for Engineers, Linear Algebra, Numerical Methods and Advanced Engineering Mathematics, mentoring and advising students and conducting research leading to publications.

The Petroleum Institute is a highly focused teaching and research institute with ambitions of becoming a leading institute in engineering education and research in areas of significance to the oil and gas and the broader energy industries.
