Contingent on budget approval, the Department of English of The University of Alabama invites applications for a tenure-track position in Renaissance dramatic literature at the assistant professor level. The position begins August 16, 2009.

Teach graduate courses in the Hudson Strode Program in Renaissance Studies and Renaissance and other classes in the undergraduate curriculum. Research productivity and publication in Renaissance literature; appropriate service to the department.
