Postdoctoral positions are available in the Department of Immunology and Microbial Science at The Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla, to study the functions and molecular mechanisms of microRNA control in the immune system and during lymphomagenesis and autoimmune diseases. Requirements:

Highly motivated PhD, MD, or MD/PhD with a solid background in immunology, biochemistry, molecular biology, or cell biology.  Working experience in the following areas is highly desired:

1. The mouse immune system

2. Mouse models of lymphoma, leukemia, and autoimmune diseases

3. Gene targeting and mouse genetics

4. RNA and RNA-binding proteins

5. Proteomics and bioinformatics
