A leading provider of Complex Event Processing technology to the Capital Markets seeks a senior technologist/developer to join its expanding EMEA team, working on both pre-sales and implementation projects. The company boasts a rapidly increasing client list that includes most of the Tier 1 Investment Banks and many of the largest European Hedge Funds. Their offering provides scalable, real-time streaming data processing solutions which gives Customers immediate cost savings and increased profit generation. The EMEA team requires an Architect Level developer with a broad technology background and a good knowledge of Front Office/Trading applications and processes. Excellent low latency and Object Oriented development skills are required, ideally Java & C++, but as the solution is tailored to the Customers environment, experience of C#/ .Net is also highly desirable. Trading knowledge should include Pricing and Derivatives and you should be mathematical with an understanding of algorithms. There is a large amount of diverse customer interaction in all pre/ post sales projects and excellent communication and presentation skills are required. You will need to have the ability to develop applications quickly, provide quick concepts/solutions in front of customers, apply initiative in providing designs/solutions internally and be prepared to work on both team and individual tasks. You should also be prepared to travel abroad to client sites on a regular basis and be flexible in your approach to working on multiple concurrent projects.
