The Signal/Image Processing Group of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of New Mexico (Albuquerque) has an opening for a post-doc researcher position. The candidate will work on developing novel signal processing methods for vibrometry and imaging for synthetic aperture radar systems. Requirements: PhD in signal processing or related area, strong academic and research record, solid knowledge in modeling and analysis of non-stationary signals, and strong programming skills in Matlab. Background in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable: synthetic aperture radar, electromagnetics, beam-forming, multi-component demodulation, tomography, and acoustics. The initial appointment is for two years, available immediately, and may be renewed for a third year.
