The College of Health and Human Services at the University of New Hampshire is seeking applications for tenure-track faculty positions in six of its eight departments. Brief descriptions of the openings in each department are presented below. The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is seeking applicants for a rank-open highly innovative nine month tenure-track position to help meet its goal of aligning its clinical and academic branches while fostering a greater overall research profile. The individual will also teach graduate and undergraduate courses, serve on committees, and conduct a program of research. Candidates must have an earned doctorate in speech-language pathology, clinical experience, an established record of research, and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively. Contact: Penelope E. Department of Health Management and Policy: Joint appointment possible with the Carsey Institute at the University of New Hampshire. Candidates must possess expertise/experience in health care management or health informatics, public health with expertise/experience in epidemiology, biostatistics or public health program administration, or closely related discipline. Candidates with evidence of successful teaching experience are valued as are ones prepared to engage in collaborative research in a multidisciplinary setting. Applied and research experience in the area of Health Policy and Management and strong methodological skills are desirable. Earned doctorate in related field, rank open.

The Department of Kinesiology at the University of New Hampshire is currently seeking applicants for a tenure- track appointment in Exercise Science at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Exercise Science or a related area and will conduct human research that complements current faculty. Laboratory specifics and current research can be found at: (http://www.chhs.unh.edu/kin_es/). Responsibilities include: the development, implementation, and maintenance of an independent, fundable human research program, research mentoring of both undergraduate and graduate students, and effective teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. All applicants will be considered but preference will be afforded to those with university teaching experience and those with research expertise in exercise metabolism or environmental physiology.

The Department of Occupational Therapy invites applications for a tenure-track, faculty position, open rank. Responsibilities include: implementing a program of research at UNH; teaching undergraduate and graduate coursework; student advising; and engagement in service activities. Candidates must have a research doctorate in occupational therapy or a related field, a record of effective teaching, and an established research program. Preference will be given to candidates with university teaching experience and a well-defined program of research. 

 The Department of Recreation Management and Policy invites applications for two full-time tenure-track faculty positions; one for the Therapeutic Recreation Option and one for the Program Administration Option. Both positions are open rank (Assistant/Associate/Professor). Each position requires an earned doctorate with at least one academic degree in the field. It is desirable that candidates for the Program Administration Option position have specialized expertise in recreational sport management and/or youth services. Candidates for the Therapeutic Recreation Option must have a strong background in Therapeutic Recreation. Duties include teaching courses in the undergraduate and graduate core, as well as in the candidate's area of expertise, advising both undergraduate and graduate students, conducting research and publishing in peer-reviewed journals and engaging in university, professional and public service.

The Department of Social Work at the University of New Hampshire (UNH) invites applications for two full-time, tenure-track faculty positions, one at the Associate Professor level and one at the Assistant Professor level, in addition to applications for one full-time Clinical Assistant Professor. All three positions are expected to teach in the combined BSW-MSW program.
