The Dauphin Island Sea Lab invites applications for an institutional post-doctoral position. The position is funded for one year with a second year's support anticipated. Candidates with research interest in any discipline of oceanography or marine ecology are encouraged to apply. Applicants are expected to work with one or more of the faculty at DISL but the position is funded independently through NOAA's Northern Gulf Institute. The successful applicant will work on one of NGI's four priority themes: Ecosystem Management; Geospatial Data Integration and Visulatization in Environmental Science; Climate Change and Climate Variability Effects of Regional Ecosystems; and Coastal Hazards.
