Two Sigma Investments seeks talented Java developers to join our small, elite team. You will work on difficult and interesting problems with bright, friendly people. The kinds of projects you might get involved with include:

  • designing high-performance systems that reliably process terabytes of information per day
  • making a research platform flexible enough that analysts can constantly explore new ideas
  • perfecting a massive custom-built distributed file system
  • building our next-generation modular real-time trading system
  • extending a global data integration engine handling information from hundreds of sources

Required Skills: The ideal candidate will have at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or the equivalent, and at least two years of professional Java development. Math and finance skills are not required. Successful candidates will typically have both strong analytical and organizational skills; exceptional programming skills; a true love of building quality software; and a team spirit.
