A Postdoctoral position is immediately available at the molecular virology/drug discovery lab of South Dakota State University. This position will participate in studies related to influenza virus replication and antiviral therapeutic development. Experience working with HIV or retrovirus is desirable but not essential. Interested candidates must have a Ph.D. or an equivalent doctoral degree and have less than 3 years postdoctoral experience in a related field. Applicants must have a strong background in virology, molecular biology, immunology, and/or cell biology. Candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills (writing and oral), and be able to independently design experiments and analyze results. Salary will be highly competitive and will commensurate with qualifications.
