This Institute is a translational research institute, linking cell based disease models to therapy development. Institute inviting applicants for the position of Scientist Post-doc for Image Mining Group. The Image Mining Group is a group of 10 people in charge of developing specific method, algorithms and software in tight collaboration with biologists during assay development.

The Image Mining Group is seeking bright researchers in computer vision. This includes Image Processing, Analysis and Understanding, Pattern Classification, Machine Learning, Signal/Image Processing, and Statistics.
The candidate must be fluent in English as the working language of the institute. S/He should have a Ph.D. degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Pattern Recognition, Image Processing/Analysis, Applied
Mathematics or Statistics. Previous experience in collaboration with cell biologists would be a plus, especially
in image analysis.

S/He should also have abilities to work in a team environment and have good communication skills as well as
proficient at using C++, C#, .NET, Java, and DirectX. A previous experience in collaboration with cell biologist
would be a plus, especially in image analysis. Attractive benefit packages are available.

Salary range : USD 50K - USD 70K
