This Institute is a translational research institute, linking cell based disease models to therapy development. The institute inviting applicants for the position of Drug Discovery IT/DD Database Engineer.

1. Develop specific software needed for Drug Discovery results management, data mining, structure-activity relationship. Develop applications in mainly PipelinePilot and ActivityBase (uHTS and LTS protocols and templates). Participate in the elaboration of internal Drug Discovery Portal software developed by Zahir Seghiri. Develop specific applications (mostly in Java) to link robotics database and data mining with ActivityBase (for compound management) or any application needed in STP.
2. Databases and IT management: Maintenance of ActivityBase database, EvoScreen database, PipelinePilot database, Spotfire, Operas database and communication with NAS and other backup
systems. Management of backups, repair when failure, general IT for STP, management of STP database

Master in IT, minimum 2 years experience with database management, Oracle deep knowledge is mandatory. Previous experience in Drug Discovery would be an advantage as well as knowledge of either PipelinePilot and/or ActivityBase.
