 Hall B in the Physics Division at Jefferson Lab has an opening for a postdoctoral research associate to work with their HDIce group. This group is preparing for experiment E06-101 on baryon spectroscopy and a search for N* resonances. The successful candidate will have multiple responsibilities; (a) working on the construction of an In-beam Cryostat that will hold a polarized target within CLAS and interfacing with collaborators from Italy, and (b) developing methods to extract amplitudes from large numbers of measured observables, beginning with FROST data and eventually the HD data. Individual will be expected to devote part of his/her time to the support of the CLAS detector operation and the development of new hardware and software tools for the CLAS collaboration.
