Job Title: Athletic Training, Assistant Professor and Clinical Instructor (Tenure-track)
Description:

   Applications are invited for a tenure-track faculty position to provide guided clinical instruction within the CAATE accredited athletic training education program.  Teach coursework in the Athletic Training and Exercise Science programs and related areas as assigned; advise students in the Athletic Training Education Program; supervise selected graduate students in the development and completion of theses; conduct research and disseminate results through scholarly publications and presentations; perform the usual faculty support tasks, including developing curricula, serving on committees and providing service to the department, college of education, and the university community. 

Required:  Earned doctoral degree in athletic training, exercise physiology, biomechanics or closely related field (ABD or terminal degree in progress will be considered).  Minimum of 1 year as a BOC certified athletic trainer. Preferred:  Previous teaching/clinical practice within an accredited athletic training education program while supervising students in the clinical setting.  Evidence of teaching and/or research experience in the field of athletic training, exercise science, biomechanics.  Didactic course specific teaching experience in Kinesiology, Gross Anatomy and Exercise Physiology.  Service experience at the university level.
