The Department of Curriculum, Foundations, and Reading in the College of Education invites nominations and applications for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Curriculum Studies.
Position Description. Reporting to the Chair of the Department of Curriculum, Foundations, and Reading, the Assistant/Associate Professor of Curriculum Studies will be responsible for teaching graduate courses in Curriculum Studies (e.g., Philosophy and History of Education, Theories of Educational Inquiry, Power and Schooling, Curriculum Theory, Multicultural Education, Forms of Curriculum Inquiry) and undergraduate courses in Educational Foundations, advising graduate students, directing doctoral dissertations, producing scholarship in the discipline, and providing service to the University and the profession. Online instruction will be required in addition to traditional delivery of instruction. The position is a 9-month appointment, and the salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
