We are seeking an Image Processing Algorithms Specialist with a strong background in Image Processing, 3D graphics algorithms development. S(he) will be responsible for the development of software components and procedures used to generate patient-specific implant designs from medical images.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team of imaging specialists, software and mechanical engineers and surgeons.
• Design, implement and test automated CAD and image processing algorithms.
• Coordinate with other team members to determine software requirements.
• Develop software validation and bench testing protocols.
• Perform and document all R&D efforts according to the company's FDA and ISO quality system procedures

Educational Requirement:

• PhD in Computer Science or related fields preferred.  

Qualifications

• Strong background in Computer Graphics and Computer Vision required
• Extensive experience programming in C/C++
• Successful and proven track record on at least a few Computer Vision and/or Graphics related projects
• Substantial experience with several of the topics mentioned above, including but not limited to medical software imaging, feature detection, segmentation algorithms, pattern recognition, 3D models, etc.
