A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Assen Marintchev at the Boston University School of Medicine, Department of Physiology and Biophysics (http://biophysics.bumc.bu.edu) to study the molecular mechanism of eukaryotic translation initiation. The candidates must have strong background in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology or Structural Biology. Research experience in translation, NMR, quantitative analysis of protein-protein interactions or enzymology is preferred. Creative, independent candidates who enjoy working in a collaborative environment are encouraged to apply.
