Job Title: Assistant Professor of Business - Asian Studies
Description:

Our School of Business has a new opportunity for an Assistant Professor of Business with a focus on Asian Studies.  The position begins in August 2009.  It is on track for continuous appointment and promotion in rank.

Provide leadership and direction to a new and developing interdisciplinary minor in Asian Studies.  Teach general courses in economics, develop and teach undergraduate courses on East Asian economics, as well as economics at the MBA level.  Advise students.  Actively participate in outreach efforts to the business community in Milwaukee and Wisconsin.

The successful candidate will have a PhD or be near completion.  Requires background in economics with a primary specialization in East Asia.  Requires a documented record of successful teaching experience.  The ability to work closely with colleagues across disciplines and in a highly collaborative environment is essential.
