Job Title: Non-Clinical Research Scientist
Description:

In this role, you will serve as a Project Scientist directing and executing studies in compliance with GLP regulations as they apply to the conduct of nonclinical research. 

You will coordinate all phases of the study planning process with appropriate departments and the associated technical staff; generate high-quality project plans, protocols, amendments, and reports; and review, interpret, integrate, and present data using the assistance of senior scientific staff (as appropriate for your level of experience). 

A key component to this role is the supervision and management of the technical staff, as well as the identification of operational and scientific growth opportunities for the company.  You will also function as contact for the planning and execution of sponsor interaction, including proposal management and study scheduling, conduct and reporting.

You should have a minimum of 6 to 7 years related experience in the contract research or pharmaceutical industry.  You must also have experience with some of the following:

  • Bioanalytical or Analytical Chemistry
  • HPLC
  • UV-VIS Spectrophotometry
  • Dose Formulation Analysis
  • LC/MS/MS (desired, not required)

A Master's Degree (M.S.) or equivalent in a scientifically-related discipline is required.  A Related Doctoral Degree (PhD) is preferred.  Experience in supervision of scientific and/or technical staff is desirable.

An understanding of regulatory requirements, Testing Facility SOPs, and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) is essential. You must have the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work and meet deadlines.
