Description:

A postdoctoral research position is available in the Inflammation Biology Unit, Experimental Immunology Branch, NCI, NIH. A major interest of the laboratory is studying the mechanisms of leukocyte-endothelial interactions in the context of inflammation and autoimmunity. The studies include analysis of mice. A good background in immunology as well as experience in cellular/molecular biology and in working with mice is required.

The National Cancer Institute coordinates the National Cancer Program, which conducts and supports research, training, health information dissemination, and other programs with respect to the cause, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cancer, rehabilitation from cancer, and the continuing care of cancer patients and the families of cancer patients.
