Well funded start-up biotechnology firm is seeking a research associate to join their small-molecule drug discover lab. Candidate will work closely with senior molecular biologists to design and execute experiments identifying protein pathways for chronic genetic diseases. As a research associate, the candidate will operate state of the art lab technology to produce high-volume, rigorous data that will illuminate the internal biological functions governing currently incurable conditions within the neuro-degenerative, oncology, metabolism, and pulmonary disease classes. 

Candidates should hold a BS or MS in Biology, chemistry or a related field and come from a strong laboratory background in cellular or molecular biology. Candidates must have 2+ years of experience working with High Content Screening (HCS) in a drug discovery biology lab as well as have experience with DNA microarrays, automated PCR, and mammalian models.
