This is a very exciting opportunity to be part of a team that will teach and lay the foundation for the success of its future employees as well as develop applications and proof of concepts in the latest technologies that will be used in the teaching of best practices for the future of all development. This person will be part of a team in the forefront to help define the future technical direction of the firm and guide the growth of all potential technologists.

This candidate will have hands-on development experience, with some background in the leadership, training & mentoring of world class software engineers.

You will be responsible, along with a very supportive & competitive team, to come up with guidelines to conduct a technology "boot camp" for new hires in the firm. The new hires will include some of the top-of-their-class recent graduates (BS/MS/PHDs) from the most elite universities in North America as well as some very seasoned technologists.

The "boot-camp" will run for 9 weeks & you will be required to come up with lectures that take 40% of the time & conduct project/lab work the rest of the time. You must have excellent leadership skills to handle a class of 20-25 bright students at a time. You are expected to jump in & get your hands dirty with the code, detecting bugs and guiding the students faults etc...

In addition this team of elite leaders is also responsible for create exciting client facing applications, so you have a choice to stay VERY hands-on & work side by side with some of the best minds in the country. You will design proof-of-concept type applications, & will be looked upon as the ‘guru' for best practices - these will be followed by the entire firm in consequent development!

This is a very important, extremely visible role that will be one of the top factors to define the future of these new hires (the outcome of these classes will define the direction of the younger generation of technology leaders)

Requirements

-Masters degree or PHD in Computer Science or Engineering

-strong C/C++ development skills with a strong UNIX background

-OOP/OOD, data structures, algorithms, memory management, OS concepts etc...

-Experience developing lectures or delivering Computer science focused training

-Excellent presentation skills - Passion for leadership
