Miltenyi Biotec Inc. has a technical support scientist role for the individual who is passionate about science and our technology. This scientist role is responsible for technical support of cellular and molecular-based products through direct contact with customers and sales representatives as a consultant on experimental design and MACS® Product applications.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for all product lines - Flow, Molecular and Immunology through contact with customers and sales staff, primarily via telephone, for experimental design, trouble-shooting and product applications
• Support customers with technical questions between different product platforms (software, hardware, theory and experimental design) and/or provide additional training via phone or in the lab
• Identify and work with researchers to foster new product introduction/acceptance in the scientific community
• Partner with marketing and technical staff to identify, assess and prioritize new product potentials, and to develop product-marketing materials
• Develop and teach technical workshops and seminars
• Provide technical, specialized and other training to sales and other staff
• Prepare and give presentations/seminars; answer questions and provide demonstrations

Requirements: Ph.D. in Immunology, Molecular Biology or similar field with 1-3 years experience in life sciences environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Flow cytometry experience is a must.
