Job Title: Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop proprietary software applications used to execute proprietary trading strategies
• Develop, modify and maintain applications which may need to be customized or standardized
• Participate in deadlines aligned with the software development life cycle
• Participate in code reviews

Requirements

• MS/PhD in Computer Science, Computer and Electrical Engineering or related degree.
• Depth in either C++ and/or C#
• Network programming (TCP/IP)
• Linux and Windows development experience
• Strong understanding of Computer Science principles and concepts including Algorithms, Data Structures, Multiprocessing and Performance
• Strong understanding of Object Oriented programming and design
• Strong understanding of machine architecture, operating systems interactions (memory management, i/o systems, sockets, inter process communications)
• Strong desire to build software for a leading proprietary trading firm; experience in all aspects of the SDLC, from requirements gathering to production deployment
• Strong interest in working in a proprietary trading firm
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
