The National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) seeks to fill one Postdoctoral position. The research position will focus on exploring physiological and genetic mechanisms of resilience following trauma and risk factors for the onset and non-remittance of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is eager to learn. Screening for the postdoctoral position will begin immediately. The position will remain open until filled, with an initial 2 year appointment (renewable up to 5 years).

Applicant should have a Ph.D. degree in Psychology, Nursing, or related discipline, or an M.D. degree. Candidates must have knowledge of the consequences of trauma. A focus on research in the area of anxiety, trauma, resilience, immune function, or endocrine function in humans is preferred.
