Job Title: T-cell Vaccines for HIV, Dr. Jay Berzofsky
Description:

A postdoctoral position is immediately available for a highly motivated candidate to work on basic mechanisms of T lymphocyte recognition/regulation and novel mucosal HIV vaccine design. The project focuses on aiding in vaccine design by developing novel strategies to enhance cellular immunity to persistent virus infection at systemic sites as well as in the mucosa.

This position will provide excellent training opportunities in mucosal and cellular immunology, and vaccine design. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and have demonstrated abilities in clear scientific project planning and reporting. Qualifications should include but are not limited to a strong background in immunology. Applicants must have Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree, but fewer than 5 years of postdoctoral training.
