Job Description:

Motivated candidates with an interest in structure-function studies of G-protein coupled receptors, who have experience in one of more of the following areas; molecular biology/mutagenesis, functional assays of GPCRs or other dynamic membrane proteins, cross-linking or mass spec, are encouraged to apply. Previous experience collaborating with computational biologists is a plus. He/She is expected to implement novel projects into the allostery and conformational dynamics in GPCR ligand-binding and activation. The selected candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary research team on NIH-funding in New York City. Current major research activities in the lab focus on elucidating the mechanism(s) of activation of the sweet taste receptor and related family C GPCRs.

Job Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. degree in Molecular biology, Chemistry, Biophysics, Biochemisty, or related discipline. Good verbal and written communication skills a must.
