Job Title: Post-Doctoral Research position in HIV Gene Therapy
Description:

A post-doctoral fellow research position is available at The UCLA AIDS Institute for developing anti-HIV gene therapy strategies. Our current research projects investigate RNA interference technology to inhibit HIV co-receptor CCR5 and protect T lymphocytes from HIV infection. We utilize lentiviral vectors to introduce short hairpin RNA into human hematopoietic stem cells. We are investigating HIV inhibition in vivo in a newly developed humanized mouse model.
