Employer:

Advanced Brain Monitoring, Inc. (ABM) develops and delivers innovative solutions for sleep apnea diagnosis, memory dysfunction measurement and alertness monitoring. ABM helps clinicians provide better patient care at lower cost with products that combine laboratory level accuracy with the portability, ease of use and affordability of micro-electronics. ABM received over $7 million in grants from the National Institutes of Health and the Department of Defense to develop and validate its innovative technologies.

ABM’s pioneering and practical suite of assessment tools identify the presence and severity of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and quantify the daytime consequences of OSA including drowsiness and memory loss. The comprehensive data and interpretive reports can be used to select the optimal treatment and to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment. ABM first targeted the highly prevalent, under-diagnosed OSA, but its systems have applications to a wide range of diseases including Alzheimer’s, head trauma, stroke, and other sleep and neurological disorders. Alertness monitoring also has clear applications in safety-sensitive occupations such as the transportation industry.

ABM is a privately held corporation based in Carlsbad, California with offices in Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro.
