As a member of the Chief Clinical Officer's team, the Corporate Clinical Program Consultant's primary responsibility is to provide corporate -wide leadership and support for the implementation of clinical innovations and emerging best practices, with a primary focus in Devereux’s Mental Health Programs. The CCPC: • Will consult with, train, and mentor clinical and program staff across disciplines, modalities, settings and geographic regions. • Will also have a leadership role in program development and clinical quality improvement initiatives. • As a consultant and collaborator, will influence and support Clinical Directors and program staff to achieve the optimum balance among service quality and consistency and effective utilization of resources. • Coordinate all aspects of program model consultation including the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of aspects of assessment, program design, implementation, staff training, and evaluation in collaboration with each of the 15 Devereux Center teams. • Provides consultative assistance, support, and training to Center staff when needed /requested to best meet the behavioral and programmatic needs of the Center’s consumers. • May serve as a Clinical Director on an interim basis. • Opportunities exist for developing grant-supported clinical research programs and participating as faculty in Devereux's APA-accredited predoctoral internship training program in professional psychology. • The position components include: Research design and planning Data collection Data management Program development Training and consultation Applied reasearch Clinical Service Delivery and Consultation
To qualify, we require:
A Doctoral Degree with at least three to five years of direct clinical experience with children and adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral disorders. An independent license to practice within one's discipline is required. Additional certification or expertise in Applied Behavioral Analysis and Cognitive Behavioral approaches is desirable, as is familiarity with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Clinical experience with children and adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral disorders required. Additional experience with adults, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities including autism spectrum disorders desirable. Requires current, expert knowledge regarding populations served by the Centers, with a specific focus on program development, program and clinical models, evidence-based intervention practices, consultation, and applied research. Should be adept at working effectively with clients, families, practitioners, and Center management staff. Requires a strong background in service delivery models for clients with emotional and behavioral disorders. Additional expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis and Cognitive Behavioral approaches is also desirable.
