Job Title: Postdoc in computational and theoretical molecular biology (bioinformatics/systems biology)
Description:

The successful applicant will work with Dr Julian Gough, his research group, and collaborate with other research groups outside the University in computational and theoretical molecular biology/systems biology. The research involves the SUPERFAMILY database (http://supfam.org) of protein domains and genomic analysis. You must demonstrate motivation to tackle scientific challenges, as well as ability and some independence.

You will have a PhD (or equivalent) in an appropriate area related to computational and theoretical molecular biology. Skills in Perl, Linux and SQL are a bonus, as is bioinformatics experience; relevant knowledge of both biology and computing/programming is important. Salary dependent on skills and experience.
