The Biomedical Sciences (BMS) program of the College of Health Sciences (CHS), Midwestern University (MWU – Glendale, Arizona, USA) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in genetics at the Assistant Professor rank. The BMS program offers one- and two-year multidisciplinary Masters-level degrees in Biomedical Science. Candidates must possess a PhD degree, with relevant post-doctoral training. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years demonstrable teaching and research experience in genetics at the graduate level. Preference will be given to applicants who have extensive knowledge in informatics or applied statistical methods. The position is teaching-intensive, but also requires community service and the development of a research program capable of attracting external funding. |
