Growing biotechnology company is seeking an outstanding systems biologist to join their small-molecule drug discovery biology lab and to play a leadership role in identifying target pathways.  The Candidate will design experiments and produce data using state of the art instruments that will identify genomic and protein pathway targets that affect chronic disorders such as metabolic, cardiovascular, neurodegenerative and cancer disease classes.  

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. preferably in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Structural Biology, Systems Biology or a related field. Experience in drug discovery is a must and candidates should have 2+ years of working in a inter-disciplinary pharamceutical or biotech environment along with other related academic or industry experience.  Strong candidates will be familiar with multiplex assay development, DNA microarrays, automated PCR, high-throughput screening (HTS), mammalian experiment models and have a firm understanding of biological networks.  Top tier compensation and relocation can be provided to the right candidate.
