Duties & Responsibilities: A postdoctoral position is available to analyze and integrate large scale transcriptomic and proteomic datasets to decipher networks of transcriptional and posttranscriptional control in cancer cells. Our laboratory has designed a new activity-based protein capture technology for global profiling of ubiquitylation substrates using quantitative liquid chromatography and tandem mass spectrometry. The main goals of this project are  to identify the substrates of E2 and E3 ubiquitylation enzymes, to pinpoint the substrate lysines that are modified, and to quantify differences in substrate utilization as prostate cells progress from an immortalized to a tumorigenic phenotype.  T  

Requirements: Candidates must have a Ph.D., as well as a strong background in bioinformatics/biostatistics, computational biology, or systems biology. Highly motivated and creative individuals with strong communication skills are encouraged to apply.
