We are currently recruiting for a Senior Developer with a tier one global financial technology firm who are looking for an experienced, innovative and delivery-focused senior developer to join the Feeds Systems team which designs, builds and maintains global real-time market data distribution infrastructure.

This is a small, creative and entrepreneurial team, with three people in London and eight people in NYC. You will be exposed to all areas of the financial markets, and play a leading role in a major growth area of the business.


Requirements

· Excellent knowledge of C++

· Experience of object-oriented design and patterns

· Experience of multi-threaded/concurrent programming

· Experience of the full development life cycle

· Good knowledge of common UNIX/Linux tools



Other desirable skills include:


· Leadership experience

· FIX and other proprietary protocols

· Experience with static and runtime tools such as debuggers, profilers, etc

· Experience of interpreted/scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Perl etc.
